Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 186 calls for service for the period of Sept. 19 to Sept. 26. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 8,309 calls for service.
Summonses
Christa J. Palmer, 36, of Rockland was issued a summons Sept. 21 for Failure to Register Vehicle, on Waldoboro Road, Bremen, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Jonathan L. Dowling, 52, of Washington was issued a summons Sept. 24 for Attaching False Plates, on Rockland Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Benjamin Powell, 49, of Camden was issued a summons Sept. 24 for Passing a Stopped School Bus, on Rockland Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Matthew J. Harkins, 48, of Newcastle was arrested Sept. 20 for Operating under the Influence, on Center Street, Damariscotta, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Allen L. Glidden Jr., 37, of Jefferson was arrested Sept. 21 on three Kennebec County warrants for Failure to Appear, on Patricktown Road, Somerville, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Peggy S. Royal, 26, of Bristol was arrested Sept. 21 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Benner Road, Bristol, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Accident
On Sept. 21, an accident occurred on Waldoboro Road in Bremen involving Christa J. Palmer, 36, of Rockland. Ms. Palmer was operating her 2007 Chevrolet Silverado southbound when she stated a school bus was turning around in Harriman Road and two cars were stopped on Route 32, waiting for the school bus to turn around. Palmer stated that the brakes on the truck were not working properly, so she drove off the road to avoid hitting the stopped vehicles. Deputy Owen Beattie was the investigating officer.
