Last spring, First Congregational Church of Wiscasset studied Season 1 of “The Chosen,” a show that explores Jesus through the eyes of the people who knew him. This fall the church will continue studying the TV series.  Season 2 focuses on the beginning of Jesus’s public ministry and what happens as word of his ministry begins to spread. Witness the disciples struggling to come together in spite of their various differences, and witness the experiences that tear them apart. 

The series will run for eight Sundays beginning at 5:30 p.m. from Oct. 1 through Nov. 19.  Watch the episode while enjoying a potluck dinner followed by discussion.  Everyone is welcome to join.
