Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 7 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 234 calls for service for the period of Oct. 31 to Nov. 7. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 9,635 calls for service.
Summonses
Dustin E. Thiboutot, 45, of Boothbay Harbor was issued a summons Oct. 31 for Violation of a Protection Order, on Barter Road, Boothbay Harbor, by Detective Matthew Ryan.
Devan L. Anderson, 36, of Bremen was issued a summons Nov. 1 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Biscay Road, Damariscotta, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
A 14-year-old female juvenile from Bremen was issued a juvenile summons Nov. 1 for Aggravated Assault, by Deputy Mark Fortin.
Larry B. Wellman Jr., 45, of Waldoboro was issued summonses Nov. 5 for Eluding an Officer; Operating after License Suspension; Violating Condition of Release and Driving to Endanger, on Depot Street, Waldoboro, after an investigation into an incident, which occurred in August, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Angela L. Bartlett, 43, of Pittston was arrested Oct. 31 for Operating under the Influence- Drugs – 1 prior, on Bailey Road, Alna, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Seth M. Petersen, 31, of Wiscasset was arrested Nov. 2 for Operating under the Influence – 1 prior, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Chaniya J. Brown, 25, of East Chicago, Indiana was arrested Nov. 4 on a Lincoln County warrant for Theft; Forgery and Criminal Conspiracy, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Scott B. Alley, 31, of Southport Island was arrested Nov. 4 for Operating under the Influence- 1 prior, on Hendricks Hill Road, Southport Island, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Todd W. Bradstreet, 44, of Bristol was arrested Nov. 4 for Reckless Conduct with a Dangerous Weapon; Operating after Habitual Offender Revocation; Violating Condition of Release; Domestic Violence Assault and Illegal Possession of a Firearm, on Alice Norwood Road, South Bristol, by Deputy Mark Fortin, who was assisted by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Douglas P. Chisholm, 60, of Nobleboro was arrested Nov. 5 for Operating under the Influence, on Main Street, Nobleboro, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Ronnie C. Russomano, 49, of Boothbay was arrested Nov. 6 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Ice Pond Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On Oct. 31, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Brittney L. Cacace-Shortill, 29, of South Portland. Ms. Cacace-Shortill was operating her 2013 Ford Taurus southbound when she struck a deer that came from the left side of the road. Deputy Owen Beattie was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 3, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Lisa C. Lincoln, 61, of Waldoboro and Mason W. Dubord, 49, of Dresden. Mr. Dubord was entering traffic in his 1998 Ford F-150, from the Dresden Take-Out, when he failed to yield the right of way of Ms. Lincoln, who was operating her 2015 Volvo XC-60 northbound. As a result, Dubord struck Lincoln’s vehicle in the rear passenger corner panel, causing functional damage to both vehicles. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 3, an accident occurred on State Route 129 in South Bristol involving Mary E. Brotherton, 72, of Jefferson. Ms. Brotherton was operating her 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche northbound when she struck a deer in the roadway. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 3, an accident occurred on Alna Road in Alna involving Sawyer J. Hull, 23, of Alna. Mr. Hull was operating his 2014 Ford F-150 southbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On Nov. 4, an accident occurred on Bath Road in Wiscasset involving Abigail S. Mehrmann, 28, of Auburn and Diane E. Bowley, 55, of Edgecomb. Ms. Bowley, who was traveling southbound, had stopped her 2020 Ford Edge at the traffic light when Ms. Mehrmann rear ended her with her 2014 Nissan Altima, causing minimal damage. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
