Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 168 calls for service for the period of Dec. 5 to Dec. 12. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 10,511 calls for service.
Summons
A 13-year-old male juvenile from Somerville was issued summonses Dec. 7 for Possession of Marijuana and Minor Possessing Alcohol, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.
Arrests
Mary D. Webb, 20, of Riverdale, Illinois was arrested Dec. 5 on a Lincoln County warrant for Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer; Forgery and Criminal Conspiracy, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Jessica M. Leeman-Boyd, 44, of Whitefield was arrested Dec. 9 for Operating under the Influence, on Head Tide Road, Whitefield, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Brennan King, 27, of Rockland was arrested Dec. 9 for Operating under the Influence and Refusing to Sign Summons, on Snowball Hill Road, Bristol, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Accidents
On Dec. 5, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving Haley M. Twitchell, 23, of Winslow. Ms. Twitchell was operating her 2019 Chevrolet Equinox southbound when a deer crossed the road in front of her and was struck, causing significant damage to the front end. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 6, an accident occurred on South Clary Road in Jefferson involving Paul M. Bernier, 65, of Jefferson. Mr. Bernier was operating his 2015 GMC Sierra southbound when a deer ran out in front of his vehicle and was struck, causing minor damage to the driver’s side front corner of his vehicle. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 6, an accident occurred on South Clary Road in Jefferson involving Thomas J. Bowden, 18, of Whitefield. Mr. Bowden was operating his 2005 Chevrolet Malibu southbound when he swerved to avoid a deer and lost control of his vehicle. As a result, he skidded off the roadway to the left and rolled his vehicle onto its side. Sgt. Ronald Rollins was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 8, an accident occurred on North Hunts Meadow Road in Whitefield involving Timothy C. Harris, 54, of Wiscasset. Mr. Harris was operating his 2015 Ford Escape northbound when a deer came out from the left side of the roadway and was struck, causing damage to the front bumper, driver’s side quarter panel and driver’s side front door. Deputy Owen Beattie was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 9, an accident occurred on Center Street in Nobleboro involving Warren Hisler, 65, of Waldoboro and Jane B. Lauer, 70, of Alna. Mr. Hisler stated he was backing his 2009 Chevrolet Silverado out of a parking spot at the Nobleboro Village Store and did not see Ms. Lauer’s parked 2021 Kia Seltos. As a result, the back right corner of his vehicle struck the back hatch area of Lauer’s vehicle. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
