The Westport Island Conservation Committee has scheduled its Annual Island Clean Up Day for Saturday, May18. Everyone is encouraged to show up at the Old Town Hall at 9 a.m.

Gloves are useful and clothing appropriate for the day. Each participant will be assigned a section of roadway and two bags: one for trash and the other for recyclables. Refreshments will be provided at the Old Town Hall and all participants will be provided with a complimentary gift.
