The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 279 calls for service for the period of May 7 to May 14. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 4,376 calls for service.
Summonses
Derek S. Hinckley, 39, of Jefferson was issued a summons May 8 for Allowing Dog to be at Large, on Legacy Lane, Jefferson, by Animal Control Officer Allen Oliver.
Jean M. Christ, 59, of Damariscotta was issued a summons May 10 for Operating Vehicle without a License, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Thomas J. Allen, 68, of Whitefield was arrested May 10 for Violating Condition of Release, on Cooper Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Jason S. Clark, 28, of Exeter, New Hampshire was arrested May 12 on a York County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Domestic Violence Assault charge, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.
Vanessa R. Parlin, 36, of Bremen was arrested May 13 for Domestic Violence Criminal Mischief and Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon, on Waldoboro Road, Bremen, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Accidents
On May 7, an accident occurred on Back Meadow Road in Nobleboro involving Renee C. Grover, 47, of Nobleboro. Ms. Grover was operating her 2020 Ford F140 northbound when a turkey entered the roadway and was struck. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On May 7, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Aimee M. Andrews, 34, of Dresden and Carleton H. Seigars, 72, of Woolwich. Ms. Andrews was exiting her driveway in her 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, turning northbound on Middle Road, when she failed to observe Mr. Seigars’ 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which was traveling southbound. As a result, Andrews struck Seigars’ motorcycle. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
On May 7, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving Holly J. Margaritis, 57, of Damariscotta. Ms. Margaritis was operating her 2021 Ford Explorer southbound when a deer crossed the road in front of her and was struck, causing damage to the front and front driver’s corner of her vehicle. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On May 9, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Colin J. Getty, 45, of Leeds. Mr. Getty was operating his 2015 Toyota Corolla southbound when he observed a deer in the roadway and struck it. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On May 10, an accident occurred on State Route 129 in South Bristol involving Christopher M. Jones, 48, of Turner. Mr. Jones was operating his 2008 Chevrolet Ck2090 southbound when a deer came out from the Texas Road and was struck with the front end of his vehicle. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On May 10, an accident occurred on Waldoboro Road in Bremen involving Nathan S. Burr, 24, of Bremen. Mr. Burr was operating his 2001 BMW 5-series northbound and turned right onto Medomak Road at a high rate of speed. Mr. Burr stated he swerved to avoid an unknown car, over corrected, crossed the centerline and rolled his vehicle down an embankment. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
