Dear Editor:

A recent letter to the editor warned of the parallels with President Trump and the rise of Adolph Hitler. As a college student the writer majored in history. I have also studied history throughout the years and completed a paper on Hitler’s “Mein Kamph” while in college. The writer’s knowledge of Hitler and the rise of the National Socialist Workers Party (NAZI) is beyond reproach. 

The train goes off the tracks after that. Comparing anyone to Hitler shows a lack of an intellectual argument. Since some media outlets are using the same mindless comparison, I guess I will play the same game. 

Soon after Trump was elected President, the Democrats’ propagandist Joseph Goebbels creates the idea that Trump is a Russian agent along with a damning dossier. Biden, with George Soros funding, sends “Nazi Brown Shirts” to college campuses to foment anti-Jew hatred. Trump decides to run for a second term and Biden coordinates the “Nazi Party” district attorneys and DOJ Gestapo in order to send Trump to prison. Hitler would be proud of “Good Ole” Joe. 

On another note, January 6th was a riot not an armed insurrection. Only one person was shot and killed. Ashli Babbit, an unarmed Navy veteran was shot and killed by a Capitol officer. A week or more prior to the riot, Pelosi and Mayor Bowser turned down National Guard help offered by President Trump. No one to date has been charged or convicted with insurrection. 

Under President Trump the economy was rocking and we were respected worldwide. Under three years of President Biden our economy and foreign policy are in the toilet. Hopefully China, Russia and Iran don’t press the flush lever before Trump can save us.
