Old Stage Road bridge work starts

    Wiscasset announced via its textmygov service July 10, Maine Department of Transportation has started work to replace the bridge spanning Montsweag Brook on Old Stage Road.

    “Old Stage Road is now closed in the area of the bridge. Please follow the DOT detour signs. Work is expected to be completed in late September,” the message read.
