Most scaffolding down from Wawenock building
Wawenock LLC spokesman Mark Robinson told Wiscasset Newspaper via email Tuesday: “The work at Wawenock Block continues to progress and is nearing completion.
“The masonry contractor is working on the southeast corner and front elevation of the building. Approximately 2/3 of the scaffolding has been removed.”
Work on the building – often at a pace residents and the town questioned – followed the spring 2021 falling of hundreds of bricks onto Main Street.
