New Hope Midcoast’s recent clothing and accessory sale was well-received by local community members and tourists alike. The July 11-13 sale featured new and gently used items from local boutiques and individual donors. VIP Night brough in 170+ people who enjoyed wine, hors d’oeuvres and first selection of items. This community favorite supports New Hope’s comprehensive work with individuals affected by domestic abuse of all genders, ages, ethnicities, and socio-economic status. Staff trained specifically in advocacy related to domestic abuse provide resources and support as they seek to empower victims regardless of where they are along their journey toward freedom and self-sufficiency.

Shop for Hope is the agency’s largest fundraiser. The agency thanks all contributors including those who supplied tables, racks, items for VIP bags, and clothing and accessories, as well as the many volunteers and staff that assisted. And thanks to all who came out to shop both on VIP Night and during Community Shopping Days. It’s always such a pleasure to see everyone!
