This week at Harbor Theater
“Deadpooll & Wolverine” R; 2 hours, 7 minutes. For the third installment in the Deadpool franchise, this action comedy finds a listless Wade Wilson toiling away in civilian life with his days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) behind him. But when his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctant Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). Ryan Reynolds makes himself at home in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with acerbic wit while Hugh Jackman provides an adamantium backbone to proceedings in Deadpool and Wolverine, an irreverent romp with a surprising soft spot for a bygone era of superhero movies. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2 p.m. (OCAP) and 7 p.m. (regular), Thursday, Aug. 29, 7 p.m.
"One of the best, most satisfying and certainly adult roller-coaster rides of this summer." - Randy Myers, San Jose Mercury News
