The Richmond-Dresden Bridge is currently under construction over the Kennebec River on Route 197, which connects Richmond and Dresden. Construction began this past summer and will be completed by December 31, 2015.
The existing bridge was built in 1931 and will remain operational until the new $18.6 million bridge is completed.
