Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 282 calls for service for the period of Sept. 23 to Oct. 1. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 11,807 calls for service.
Summons
Derek K. Cole, 32, of Wiscasset was issued a summons Sept. 30 for Operating under the Influence, on South Clary Road, Jefferson, by Sgt. Scott Hayden, for an accident which occurred on July 31.
Arrests
Joey Lee Peaslee, 43, of Whitefield was arrested Sept. 28 on a Kennebec County warrant for Failure to Report, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Robert Henthorne, 56, of Newcastle was arrested Sept. 28 on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear on an Operating after Suspension charge, on Lynch Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Sirenna J. Butler, 23, of Warren was arrested Sept. 30 for Violating Condition of Release and Operating under the Influence, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Accidents
On Sept. 25, an accident occurred on Head Tide Hill Road in Alna involving Naomi L. Luce, 48, of Whitefield. Ms. Luce was operating her 2019 Ford EcoSport southbound when a deer ran out in front of her and struck the driver’s side front, causing front side damage and leaking fluids. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 25, an accident occurred on Old County Road in Bristol involving Gregory D. Stewart, 60, of Bristol. Mr. Stewart was operating his 2013 Volkswagen Touareg northbound when he struck a deer in the roadway. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 26, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Robert L. Whittemore, 52, of Augusta. Mr. Whittemore was operating his 2010 Kia Sportage northbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with his vehicle. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
