The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 205 calls for service for the period of Dec. 17 to Dec. 23. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 14,867 calls for service.
Summonses
Owen B. Dyer, 20, of Bristol was issued a summons Dec. 19 for Passing Stopped School Bus, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Deputy Joseph Booth.
Kathleen A. Reinhardt, 34, of Boothbay was issued a summons Dec. 21 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked and Violating Condition of Release, on Boothbay Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Jessica E. Debella, 38, of Whitefield was arrested Dec. 18 for Operating while License is Suspended/Revoked- OUI, 2 priors; Violating Condition of Release and on a Kennebec County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Theft charge, on Main Street, Whitefield, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Gavin J. Young, 19, of Newcastle was arrested Dec. 20 for Violating Condition of Release, on Hopkins Hill Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.
Michael E. Hilgendorf, 74, of Damariscotta was arrested Dec. 20 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked; Violating Condition of Release; Burglary; Domestic Violence Stalking and Violating Protection Order, on Academy Hill, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Accidents
On Dec. 18, an accident occurred on River Road in Boothbay involving Judith A. White, 66, of Boothbay and Laura E. Murphy, 31, of Edgecomb. Ms. White was traveling westbound on River Road in her 2010 Toyota RAV4, when she stopped at the stop sign at Wiscasset Road. She then proceeded to turn left onto Wiscasset Road and did not see Ms. Murphy, who was traveling southbound on Wiscasset Road in her 2021 Ford Explorer, and turning left onto River Road. As result, White failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign and struck Murphy’s vehicle, causing front end damage to her (White’s)vehicle and driver’s side damage to Murphy’s vehicle. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 20, an accident occurred on River Road in Edgecomb involving Kailee Campbell, 20, of Boothbay. Ms. Campbell was operating her 2019 Ford Escape southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the left side and was struck, causing the air bags to deploy on both side of the vehicle. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
