Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: Three arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 295 calls for service for the period of Jan. 7 to Jan. 14. Year to Date, LCSO has responded to 571 calls for service.
Summonses
Teagan Galway, 24, of Greene was issued a summons Jan. 7 for Unauthorized Dissemination of Certain Private Images, by the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office, on behalf of Sgt. Scott Hayden, for an incident which was investigated in Nobleboro.
Samantha A. Cohen, 24, of Old Orchard Beach was issued a summons Jan. 13 for Driving to Endanger, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Arrests
McKayla J. Paulsen, 25, of Nobleboro was arrested Jan. 8 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Center Street, Nobleboro, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Darren J. Foglio, 55, of Cushing was arrested Jan. 12 for Operating under the Influence, on Gardiner Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Samuel Alexander, who was assisted by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Alton D. Wyman, II, 40, of Wiscasset was arrested Jan. 12 for Operating under the Influence, on Bradford Road, Wiscasset, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On Jan. 9, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Linda I. Dobson-Porter, 67, of Bristol and Brittany N. Moore, 28, of Georgetown. Both operators were traveling westbound, when the travel lane transitioned into two lanes, one passing and one travel. Ms. Dobson-Porter was operating her 2007 Toyota ahead of Ms. Moore’s 2022 Ford Explorer, but did not keep to the right, allowing Moore to pass. Moore attempted to pass Dobson-Porter on the right and during this pass, Dobson-Porter attempted to move into the travel lane, striking Moore’s vehicle in the rear driver’s side quarter panel. Deputy Joseph Booth was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 10, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Newcastle involving Kirsten E. Latter, 27, of Woolwich. Ms. Latter was operating her 2024 Ford Edge southbound when she observed a deer enter the roadway from the southbound ditch and struck it. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 11, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Dameion L. Dunn, 23, of Bristol. Mr. Dunn was operating his 2010 Toyota Venza southbound when he hit a patch of ice and went off the roadway on the right and down an embankment. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
