Recent Summonses

On August 27, Dustin R. Bibber, 23, of Boothbay Harbor was issued a summons for violating condition of release, at the Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Transport Deputy James Read.

On September 1, Cameron M. Brann, 22, of Whitefield was issued a summons for operating vehicle without a license, on Rockland Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Scott Hayden.

Recent Arrests

On August 29, Amy L. Desjardins, 33, of West Bath was arrested for operating without a license and unlawful possession of scheduled drug, on Route 1, Wiscasset, by Deputy Scott Hayden.

On August 31, Gary L. Brewer, 60, of Boothbay was arrested for operating under the influence, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Sgt. Jason Nein.

Recent Traffic Citations

On August 17, Gary Harris, 57, of Otis – Failure to obey a traffic control device – Route 27, Edgecomb – Dep. Mark Bridgham.

On August 22, Erica Johnson, 22, of Wiscasset – Speeding 74 mph in a posted 55 mph speed zone – Gardiner Rd., Dresden – Maj. Ken Mason.

On August 23, Midcoast Marine Services, of Boothbay Harbor – Displaying an expired inspection sticker (company vehicle) – Route 27, Edgecomb – Sgt. Jason Nein; Stephen Wood, 28, of Boothbay – Failing to display an inspection sticker – Beath Rd., Boothbay – Sgt. Jason Nein.

Jason Nein; Bridget Kazukiewicz, 37, of Waterboro – Failure to register motor vehicle (expired 30-150 days) – Route 27, Boothbay – Sgt. Jason Nein; Kevin Green, 26, of Panama City, FL – Failure to show proof of insurance – Eddy Rd., Edgecomb – Det. Terry Michaud.

Recent Accidents

On August 28, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Jacob H. Ripley, 16, of Edgecomb and Michael R. Edgecomb, 53, of Lewiston. Ripley was operating his 1996 GMC Jimmy southbound and Edgecomb, operating his 2006 Honda Odyssey, was stopped in the southbound travel lane in traffic waiting to turn left onto Hardwick Road. Ripley failed to see Edgecomb stopped and struck his vehicle in the rear. Sgt. Jason Nein was the investigating officer.

On August 30, an accident occurred on Route 27 in Boothbay involving Kyle K. Holbrook, 18, of Richmond. Mr. Holbrook was operating his 1996 Acura Integra southbound when he fell asleep and crossed the center line. As a result, he drove off the roadway and struck a utility pole. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.
