There will be a fourth Sunday Damariscotta Area Shape Note Singing on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2-5 p.m. at St. Andrews Church in Newcastle, 11 Glidden Street. Participants will meet in the undercroft.

The shapenote singing is a free, participatory event, not a performance. No experience is necessary and beginners are warmly welcomed. Participants will be singing from the Sacred Harp, 1991 Denson edition. Books will be available for loan or purchase. A potluck dinner will be held after the singing, so please bring a dish to share. 

Please bring your food ready to serve since there will be limited access to kitchen facilities.
