William Reynolds Weare II, of Boothbay, beloved husband and father, died Dec. 28, 2014 at the Veterans Hospital with family members at his side.

Bill was born Feb. 9, 1943 the son of William and Dorothea Weare of Longmeadow, Massachusetts.

He attended local schools in Longmeadow and attended college in Boston, Massachusetts. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Army and was in the Vietnam War.

Bill worked for many years as an arborist and in his later years he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie, and his children, Todd and his wife Tara of Agawam, Massachusetts, Bill and his wife Crystal of Encinitas, California, and Jessica and her husband Mike of Longmeadow, Massachusetts. He leaves behind six grandchildren.

At his request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.

A special celebration of his life will be held in the spring.
