Hands-On Harp, an introduction to the harp for kids or adults over 7 years of age continues into its third summer, with the first session scheduled for Monday through Friday, July 13-17. More classes will be scheduled during the summer: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends are all possible. 

Classes are held in the airy carriage-house teaching studio in Alna. Harps, music, stands, benches are all supplied, students need only to make a time commitment.

The program is geared for beginners, with no musical experience necessary, and is meant both for those considering studying the harp, and for those who are just curious about music and instruments in general.

In previous sessions, Flanagan observed that the regular reinforcement possible in a daily program enabled students to make surprising progress.
