Vibrant color and delicate design by Lise Aubry, Brady Nickerson and Jane Varn will be on display, and for sale, at the Rising Tide Community Market for the month of February.

Aubry and Varn have been students of Brady Nickerson for many years and are excited to see heir art featured with Nickerson’s.

The opening reception is Friday, Feb. 5 from 4-6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the art, refreshments and snacks.

Nickerson is an artist and educator from Edgecomb who has been teaching process painting to children and adults ages 6 to 86 for over 20 years.

The process is free expression painting allowing one to let go, trust and feel while they paint without any goal or set idea in mind. The focus is on the process without criticism or judgment. It’s spontaneous painting guided by your intuition.
