College Guild presents an 'Art & Poetry Display'
College Guild (CG) in Brunswick will present student-prisoner poetry, artwork and testimonials, along with an overview of this unique school on Thursday, April 28 at 3 p.m. at the Patten Free Library. After the presentation time will be allotted for Q&A.
CG is the nation's only provider of free correspondence courses and dictionaries to prisoners across the country. About 450 students are enrolled at any given time. More than 6,000 inmates have enrolled since CG's inception in 2001.
