Charles Niemenski
Charles Niemenski, 92, died peacefully on Nov. 13, 2016 at his home on Southport Island.
Charles grew up in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, attended local schools through the ninth grade. He joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 14 and was one of five brothers who served during World War II in Naval Ordinance for Anti-Sub Warfare in the South Atlantic and Brazil.

He is survived by a son, Charles Jr. and wife Ellen of Southport; and grandson, Robert Niemenski of Akron, Ohio.
