Several classes coming up at Adult Ed
During the last week of November and the first week of December at Boothbay Region Adult Ed, you can make a beautiful beaded snowflake ornament, learn how to be safe when operating a snowmobile or ATV, how to make your resume stand out, and how you can create a stunning holiday cheese plate.
There are a few spaces in Cheese for the Holidays on Dec. 6, 6:30-8 p.m. at Eventide. Join Kim to learn which cheeses go well together, balancing flavors and textures along with accompaniments such as assorted crackers artisan breads, fruits, or olives. Kim's classes are always creative and fun. The cost is $24.
Join Manon on Wednesday, Nov. 30, to create Beaded Snowflakes that will sparkle hanging from your Christmas tree. Use your creativity working with silver wire & a variety of colored and clear crystal beads. Once you learn how to make these beautiful snowflakes you'll want to make more to decorate windows or to embellish Christmas packages. The time is 6-8 p.m., and the registration fee is $14, plus an $8 materials fee paid on class night.
In Snowmobile-ATV Safety, a three evening course, learn how to handle these recreational machines, and understand the Maine laws governing their use which helps reduce the risk of injury and accident. State law requires operators under the age of 16 complete a safety course. Parents are held legally responsible for violators. Play it safe. Learn the right way to ride. The course is on Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1 from 6-9 p.m., and the fee is $10.

The date is Dec. 1, 6-8 p.m. and the fee is $15.
It's not too late to sign up for Chip Griffin's informative Estate Planning and Elder Law class on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 6-8 p.m. The fee is $10.
