Science experiment turns colorful
Edgecomb Eddy second graders learned about colors on Jan. 10. Mrs. Garey’s class did a series of student-led science experiments in learning about different colors. One experiment was Jackson Zehm’s Volcano of Color. Jackson filled beakers with various colored waters. He added vinegar and later baking soda into the beaker which produced a colorful explosion.
Another experiment was Arabella Hodgdon’s “Walking With Rainbows” experiment where she used paper towels and colored water to show how different colors combine to make a new pigmentation.
