Learn to make needle felted animals
Who can resist a cuddly little animal? Join instructor Debra Arter for "Needle Felted Animals" and take one home that same night. This course will be offered through Central Lincoln County Adult Education on Thursday, March 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Great Salt Bay School in Damariscotta.
During this one-night class, each participant will make a cozy soft small mammal or bird of their choice out of wool and use the needle felting method to create the features of their new friend. Students will want to make an entire zoo because it is so much fun! The night will fly by and each student will take home a lovely original wool sculpture at the end of the course. No experience required! So come try your hand at something new.
The cost of the course is $29 with a materials fee of $10 payable to the instructor the night of class to cover the cost of all wool and armature materials. Class size is limited so register today! To register, call CLC Adult Education at 563-2811, email clcae@aos93.org, visit clc.maineadulted.org, or stop by the office in the Pine Grove Plaza at the intersection of Route 1 and Business Route 1 in Damariscotta.
