Gain the skills necessary to get a good job by attending two free job seeker workshops being offered through a partnership of Central Lincoln County Adult Education and Goodwill Workforce Solutions. The workshops will be held at the CLC Adult Education office in Damariscotta from 9 a.m. till noon.

Job Search and the Internet will be offered Tuesday, May 9. After crafting an effective resume the next step is to job search. Today that is largely done online, with dozens of job search sites at your fingertips. Come to this workshop for a day of exploring and learn about the different sites and how to navigate them. This is a hands-on workshop. Students should bring their resumes on a flash drive and be prepared to start the journey to success!

Effective Interviewing Skills will be held on Tuesday, May 16. Gain the confidence to ace that interview and get the job! The key is to go in prepared! In this interviewing workshop, interview preparation techniques will be discussed. Students will practice commonly asked questions, and learn to avoid some common interviewing mistakes.
