Charles Dodge “Chic” Barton, 72, of Douglasville, Georgia died May 6, 2017. 

He was born in Bath, Maine on June 23, 1944 to the late Charles N. Barton and the late Ava Dodge Barton. He served in the United States Navy and was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member of King’s Chapel Church, Lahaina Maui, Hawaii.

He is survived by his wife, Nanette Kia Barton; daughters, Charnette Darisay and husband Derek, Nalie Williams and husband Ricky; son, Arthur Eugene Dodge Barton and wife Ailine; grandchildren, A.J. Williams, Makana Cabagua and wife Marcella, Alicia Williams, Malama Cabagua, Mikela Cabagua, Ashley Williams, Alexis Williams, Kautoke Barton, Zorea Ula; great-grandchild, Stella-Rose Harris; sisters, Peggy Barton, Susan Barton; and brothers, Kevin Barton, Arthur Barton.

Per his wishes he was cremated and no services are planned. His cremains will be scattered at a later date in Maui, Hawaii.
