Sheepscot Valley Children’s House festival, open house May 20
Sheepscot Valley Children’s House welcomes you to join our annual May Festival and Open House this Saturday, May 20, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine.
This special event gives prospective families a chance to see our school, meet the teachers and to socialize with current parents and alumni. As part of the festivities, there will be craft tables, face painting, bouncy house, May Pole celebration, music, potluck lunch, bake sale, raffles and fun for all. This year, the grand prize raffle is a brand new 16-foot Old Town canoe including paddles and life jackets. Other prizes to be won include local boutique and businesses’ gift certificates, fun-filled day passes, gift baskets, vacation lodging, handmade goods, local treats and much more. All proceeds from the May Festival will benefit SVCH’s scholarship fund and school programs. Please help support a local school in your community!
We are currently enrolling children for the 2017-2018 academic year. Since 1983, Sheepscot Valley Children’s House has been offering a unique and essential part of filling a community need for quality childcare in the midcoast region. SVCH is a nonprofit school for children between the ages of two and seven years old. We provide Montessori and traditionally inspired methods and materials to welcome young minds into learning about themselves, others, nature, the arts and the world around them.
Sheepscot Valley Children’s House is located at 127 Federal Street. Ample free parking is available at the Old Jail Museum. For more information about May Festival and Open House or to schedule a tour, please call 882-6300.
