(Margaret) Laddie Drucker left explicit instructions, in her will no less, that a party for her friends was to be held around the Fourth of July at the Boothbay Region Art Foundation. And Mrs. Drucker made provisions for it.

The board at BRAF has planned  the event to celebrate the life of their dear friend on Sunday, July 9 from 5-7 p.m. at the Art Foundation in Boothbay Harbor where she was an active member for over 20 years.

Said longtime friend and artist Donna Denniston, “The art foundation was only the beginning; Laddie was a contributor to every organization and charity in the region and beyond. She loved art above all, and the organization most dear to her heart was BRAF. Laddie didn't want flowers, but wanted any memorials to go to BRAF or another charity. We lost an amazing person.”

All friends and fans are welcome to drink a toast and tell a favorite story or two about a most amazing and generous human being who passed from this world to the next on Feb. 5, 2017  at the age of 92.

The Boothbay Region Art Foundation is located at One Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor.
