Get your tickets now! Come Saturday, Aug. 19 at 4 p.m. to the second annual Lobster and More event! The Lincoln Home hosts this special fundraiser to support the Resident Financial Aid Fund and bring the community together for a fun evening. Dine on delicious Maine lobsters, mouth-watering barbecue chicken, Maine blueberry desserts, beer and wine, all on the banks of the Damariscotta River next to the Lincoln Home. Twenty artists will exhibit work for sale in the Art Tent. Vote for your favorite piece of art and three cash “People’s Choice Awards” will be given to the artists you choose. Dance to lively bluegrass music provided by Sandy River Bluegrass. Bring your summer guests to join in the fun and meet some of the great people we have in our community.

Advance tickets are $45 per person, under age 10 are free, and are available at The Lincoln Home, located at 22 River Road, or by calling 563-3350. Tickets at the door are $50 per person.

An evening of traditional Maine fun and delicious food, and a portion of the art sold, will help support the Financial Assistance Fund at The Lincoln Home for residents who have outlived their financial resources. For the last10 years, The Lincoln Home has provided over $200,000 a year of free housing and health care to residents in need and does not receive any state or federal monies.
