Mr. and Mrs. Bob Marcus of Wiscasset are proud to announce that their daughter, Amanda Marcus, received a bachelor of science degree in mass communications from Husson University on May 9. She also earned certificates in digital and social media marketing and web design.

While at Husson, she was a multi-sport D3 athlete (cross country, swimming, and outdoor track & field) and a dorm resident assistant. In the fall 2019 cross country season, she received the Coaches Award. She graduated magna cum laude, was inducted into the Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society, and received Public Relations Student Society of America Honor Cords.

Amanda plans to pursue a career in marketing and advertising.
