Area high school seniors receive DAR “Good Citizen” awards
Regent Audrey Miller and Vice Regent Louise Brown have been busy during the past few weeks presenting the DAR Good Citizen Award at four Lincoln County high schools. The Good Citizen Award was created in 1934 to recognize and reward high school seniors who exemplify the qualities of a good citizen: dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. It is one of the highest student awards given by the DAR and should be considered a great honor.
The students who received the award this year are: Patrick White from Medomak Valley High School; Skylar Stickney from Wiscasset High School; Nicole Clarke from Boothbay Region High School; and Kaden Jared Pendleton from Lincoln Academy.
