ARTinME 2016 seeks submissions
Boothbay Region Art Foundation invites all Maine artists who paint, draw, sculpt, produce hand-pulled prints or create assemblages to submit their work for selection in ARTinME 2016.
Entries are open to all artists with a Maine address. Up to two pieces may be submitted, no larger than 4’ by 4’ each. Sculptures must be manageable in size and weight: 50 lbs. or under. (Note: No photography)
Since ARTinME has no overall theme, artists should submit their favorite example of artwork. Let it be the "Art in YOU," a signature piece that is your expression of a time and place, or it could be your latest experimental piece using a mixture of mediums. Whatever your choice may be, here is an opportunity to showcase your creativity.
Delivery dates are Tuesday, Oct. 11, noon to 7 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at Boothbay Region Art Foundation- One Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor.
This year’s judge is Liam Sullivan, Director of Outreach and Enrollment at Maine College of Art.
Monetary prizes of over $1,500 will be awarded at the opening reception on Saturday, Oct. 15.
