The Kefauver Studio & Gallery, Damariscotta, is calling for artists to participate in “The Boat Show” running from July 1-31. This show celebrates boats and everything related – pleasure craft, working vessels, ropes, floats, and buoys. An Artists’ Reception, open to the public, will be held on Sunday, July 3 from 4-6:30 p.m.

All work must be ready for hanging or displaying (framed or painted edges, wired for hanging.) Pedestals are available for 3-dimensional work. Several artists will be selected to present up to 3 works at the show. To enter, submit up to five works in .jpg form via email to: will@kefauverstudio.com Deadline for submission is Wednesday, June 15.

The artist may price the work as s/he likes, but it should be priced reasonably for sale. No NFS works will be accepted. The commission for this show will be 30 percent. All sales and sales taxes will be handled by the Gallery, as will shipping, if necessary. In the event of a sale, the artist may, but isn’t required to, replace the work sold.

The show will be advertised through press releases and advertisements in the local papers, and will overlap the Twin Villages ArtWalk on July 15.
