Calling all writers for February’s Sounding Board
Susan Lebel Young will be the featured author at The Sounding Board on Thursday, February 15, at the Merry Barn. Young is the author of “Grandkids as Gurus;” “Food Fix: Ancient Nourishment for Modern Hungers;” and “Lessons from a Golfer: A Daughter’s Story of Opening the Heart.” She wrote a regular column for The Forecaster. Young will read a recent, yet-to-be-published essay.
Young brings a unique perspective to her writing with over 35 years as a psychotherapist, teacher, and leader of workshops in yoga, mindfulness, mindful eating, and meditation.
The Sounding Board is a monthly forum for Midcoast writers of all abilities to share brief pieces, receive supportive feedback, and hear new work from a published author. Come for inspiration, for feedback, to enjoy community, to simply to check it out.
Light refreshments and time to network begin at 5:30 p.m. Readings begin at 6 p.m.
