The sounds of the islands prevail on April 9 with the annual Pan Fried Steel Drum Band night. In addition to theme drink specials, the grand old gal is decked out with palm fronds and floating beach balls (no, I don't think by themselves) and the joyful sounds of the 25 member steel drummers. Wear dancing shoes … or sandals … flip flops …
On June 30, the colorful duo of flutist Leslie Stroud and pianist Matthew Odell will play richly varied chamber music written expressly for their instruments will take the stage.
Recording artist Seth Glier is a seasoned singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Celebrate Independence Day Weekend with this independent musician on July 2. Glier sings what he feels, and makes us all think. Appearing with saxophonist Joe Nerney.
The Grammy winning ensemble Chanticleer from San Francisco has been called "the world's reigning male chorus" by The New Yorker magazine. Chanticleer celebrates its 38th season this year, performing in the United States, including a stop in Boothbay Harbor Maine before traveling abroad on July 23.
August 27 is boogie-woogie night. Bob Milne has been called the finest interpreter of ragtime music in the world. Travel back in time – maybe channel a few dance steps of that bygone era …
And. Don't forget the first concert of 2016 by The Boneheads and The Holy Mackerels on Saturday, Jan. 16!
