Edgecomb Community Church, UCC, will be holding a week-long Vacation Bible School, July 10-14 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. each day. This year’s theme is "Hero Central: Discover your strength in God." VBS Hero Central is designed to introduce students to a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ. At Hero Central,the students will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based goodtime as they discover their strength in God. They will become Heroes and explore how toserve God and God’s mission for their lives.

After an opening assembly at Hero Central, the Heroes make their way to the

Bible Story Headquarters. They will enjoy interactive Bible lessons including: God's Heroes Have Heart! - God's Heroes Have Courage! - God's Heroes Have Wisdom! - God's Heroes Have Hope! - God's Heroes Have Power! They will discover a Hero Verse (Bible memory verse) that will remain with them in their faith long after VBS.

The students will expand on what they’ve discovered by participating in a variety of

activities including making their own art projects at Craft Headquarters, singing new songs at Music Headquarters, exploring the wonders of creation at Science Headquarters, playing games at Recreation Headquarters, and enjoying tasty treats at Snack Headquarters.
