First National Bank sponsors Maine Art Gallery's plein air event
Monique McRae, the Wiscasset Branch Manager of the First National Bank, and Ann Clifford, Branch Supervisor, presented a generous donation to the Maine Art Gallery on April 9 at a meeting with several members of the gallery’s board of trustees. The contribution of $500 provides sponsorship for the “Paint the Town and Plein Air Show” — July 21-25 — when artists set up their easels around Wiscasset to document the local scenery. A reception will be held on the evening of July 24 at the gallery when the artwork will be for sale.
McRae said First National is pleased to be involved in supporting the upcoming show highlighting the creativity and talent of area residents.. Board President Wendy Ross Eichler expressed the board’s gratitude for the donation.
