Free classes, college advising and career planning offered
Are you 19 or older and planning to go to college but don’t know where to start? Could you benefit from one-on-one counseling, mentoring and support to help you successfully move on to college and earn a degree and/or decide on a career that is the perfect fit for you? If so, than the Lincoln County College Connection (TLC3) can help you achieve these goals and more.
TLC3 gives you support from start to finish with free academic courses that prepare you for the college placement tests and set you up for success in the college classroom, free career counseling and decision making with your own personal college coach to help you figure out what you want to do, free college visits and tours, and, finally, follow up and support to ensure your continued success once you are enrolled in college.
Are you worried you don’t have the time or money to attend college? TLC3 offers flexible schedules and locations that work for you. Both morning and evening courses and learning center times are offered in Damariscotta, Waldoboro, Wiscasset and Boothbay Harbor with ongoing personalized advising and support. We will also walk you through getting the money you need to attend college. Your college coach will help you fill out your financial aid forms and assist you with every step of the college admissions process.
Here are some of the things TLC3 graduates have said about the program:
“I no longer have to work two minimum wage jobs.”
“I am now able to choose the work I wish to pursue.”
“The program is simply put, awesome!”
So what are you waiting for? It’s time to take that first important step towards making your dreams a reality.
Visit Central Lincoln County’s website (clc.maineadulted.org) and/or call 563-2811 for more information and to register. We are currently registering students for the winter/spring 2018 semester. Classes begin the week of Jan. 22.
