Free Seacoast Community Orchestras concert
The Seacoast Orchestras will present their Winter Concert as a gift to the community Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln Theater. All are invited to attend and celebrate this amazing music performed by our exceptionally talented friends and neighbors.
The program will feature works for strings by Gia Comolli, Enric Granados, Mozart, Bach, Handel and others.
The more advanced Mezza and Avanzata orchestras are directed by Ferdinand Liva of the Daponte Quartet. The Primo Orchestra is directed by Kaity Newell, director of the Great Salt Bay Community School Strings Program.
While the Seacoast Concerts in both the fall and spring are free to all, we appreciate any donations.
Interested in joining one of the orchestras? String players at all levels are invited to join one - or more. Brass and Woodwind musicians are invited to join for the spring season when symphonic pieces are performed. If you would like to join the orchestras or have questions, please call contact Kaity Newell 207-563-8440 or Ferdinand Liva 207-729-4770, or check out seacoastorchestra.org.
