Awaken the artist within by registering for “Gouache Painting—The Natural World” offered by Central Lincoln County Adult Education beginning Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Bristol Consolidated School from 7-9 p.m. This eight week course will run through Nov. 15.

This course is for beginner to intermediate painters of the gouache medium. The class will be based on solid principles of representational painting and drawing and will include color mixing, developing neutrals and some brush techniques using subjects from the natural world– animals, botanicals, shells, etc. Techniques for understanding motion and how gesture affects the actual paint application will be studied.
