Last tent sale of the season at Pemaquid Lighthouse Park
The Pemaquid Group of Artists will host an outdoor Art Under the Tent Sale at Lighthouse Park on Saturday, Sept. 5, weather permitting. Several artists will be painting plein air on location during the event from 10 to 4 PM. Work from over 20 juried artists, working with a variety of mediums, including pottery, will be on display and for sale at affordable prices, in two large tents.
Pemaquid Art Gallery has been closed for the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and hopes to reopen their gallery space next season. This is the third and final tent sale.
Boxes of assorted notecards and envelopes will also be for sale. Each card is a recreation of an original painting by a member artist. The price for a set of 10 is $20 and includes Maine sales tax. The boxed sets offer beautiful glimpses of mid coast Maine and make excellent gifts and remembrances.
Enjoy a leisurely ride down the Bristol peninsula to enjoy beautiful art, crashing surf and the incredible views at Lighthouse Park. Participating members of the Pemaquid Group of Artists include: Deb Arter, Bruce Babb, Julie Babb, Dianne Dolan, Peggy Farrell, Sarah Fisher, Claire Hancock, Kay Hannah, Hannah Ineson, Will Kefauver, Jan Kilburn, Barbara Klein, Patti Leavitt, Sally Loughridge, Judy Nixon, Paul Sherman, Cindy Spencer, Lili Thelander, Kim Traina, Barbara Vanderbilt and Bob Vaughan.
