Taylor Tweedy, 20, of West Gardiner was issued a summons June 29 for Minor Consuming Liquor on Hiawathia Trail, Boothbay, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.

Arrests

Jonathan G Paul, 42, of Waldoboro was arrested June 25 on a Warrant for Failure to Appear at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.

Olivia M Ferreira-Rogers, 36, of Carmel was arrested June 26 for Operating Under the Influence, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution on Monument Ln, Bristol by Deputy Jerold Winslow who was assisted Deputy Kasey Doyle and Sgt. Matthew Day.

Tyonek F. Thurlow, 35, of Carmel was arrested June 26 for Aggravated Forgery, Violating Condition of Release and Endangering the Welfare of a Child on Monument Ln, Bristol by Deputy Jerold Winslow who was assisted by Deputy Kasey Doyle and Sgt. Matthew Day.

Richard H Halvarson II, 64, of Damariscotta was arrested June 28 for Violating a Protection Order on High St in Wiscasset by Detective Ryan Chubbuck.

Accidents

On June 22, an accident occurred on Grand Army Road in Whitefield involving Nicholas J Wheelock, 44, of Augusta. Mr. Wheelock was operating his 2004 Honda Accord west on Grand Army Road when he fell asleep crossing the center line, going off the road and striking a utility pole. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.

On June 23, an accident occurred on Hilton Road in Whitefield involving Rylie Cowette, 21, of Whitefield. Ms. Cowette was operating her 2012 Hyundai Elantra east on Hilton Road in heavy rain when she went off the road to the left and struck a stone wall. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.

On June 25, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Jason R Potter, 39, of Damariscotta and Michael H Rose, 53, of Damariscotta. Mr. Rose was stopped in traffic in his 2016 Ford Explorer when Mr. Potter, who was operating a 2016 Subaru Forester, failed to stop in time and struck Mr. Rose. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.

On June 25, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Benjamin McLain 32, of Bristol. Mr. McLain was operating his 2016 Jeep Cherokee south on Route 130 when deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Mark Fortin was the investigating officer.

On June 25, an accident occurred on Route One in Newcastle involving Paul J. Shelmerdine, 53, of Warren. Mr. Shelmerdine was operating his 2022 Ford Escape northbound when a deer ran into the side of the vehicle. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.

On June 25, an accident occurred on McKay Road in Edgecomb involving Tiffany L Beaucage, 43, of Alna and Lucinda Morse-Witt, 78, of Boothbay Harbor. Ms. Beaucage was operating her 2018 Ford Fusion was turning onto River Road when Ms. Morse-Witt operating her 2010 Saab 9-3 traveling south on River Road struck her. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.

On June 28, an accident occurred on Patricktown Road in Somerville involving Lilian E Bray, 20, of Somerville. Ms. Bray was operating a 2010 Subaru Foster south on Patricktown Rd when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Mark Fortin was the investigating officer.

On June 28, an accident occurred on Pittston Road in Whitefield involving Paul G Peaslee, 66, of Whitefield and Katrina C Jackson, 41, of Whitefield. Mr. Peaslee was operating his 2001 Chevrolet Silverado attempting to turn left into a driveway. Ms. Jackson who was operating a 2020 Toyota Prius westbound on Pittston Road. Mr. Peaslee failed to yield causing Mr. Jackson to swerve but still collided with Mr. Peaslee. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.

On June 28, an accident occurred on Jefferson Road in Whitefield involving Melanie L Pagurko, 52, of Whitefield. Ms. Pagurko was operating her 2015 Toyota Camry southbound on Jefferson Road when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.

On June 28, an accident occurred on Sheepscot Road in Newcastle involving Mariah L Pronovost, 46, of Southwest Harbor and Samantha S Bailey, 28 of Jefferson. Ms. Pronovost was operating her 2012 Volvo S60 northbound on Sheepscot Road. Ms. Bailey was with her disabled vehicle pulled over to the side of the road. Due to the sun Ms. Pronovost did not see the vehicle of the Ms. Bailey who had exited her vehicle and was walking around her vehicle and she was struck. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.

On June 28, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Brett S. Slater, 53, of Wiscasset. Mr. Slater was operating his 2020 Toyota Tacoma northbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Deputy Joseph Booth was the investigating officer.

On June 29, an accident occurred on Hendricks Hill Road in Southport involving Thomas E Tiller, 72, of Boothbay and Kyle M Cohick, 26, of Cambridge Massachusetts. Mr. Cohick was operating his 2024 Toyota Rav4 waiting to turn left into a parking lot when Mr. Tiller who was operating his 2022 GMC Sierra was double parked and started to back up when he struck Mr. Cohick. Deputy Joseph Booth was the investigating officer.
