Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 213 calls for service for the period of March 12 to March 19. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 2,555 calls for service.
Summonses
Amanda S. Lewis-Giles, 44, of Boothbay was issued a summons March 13 for Failing to Notify of Motor Vehicle Accident, on Pension Ridge Road, Boothbay, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Gregory P. McLaughlin, 46, of Hollis Center was issued a summons March 17 for Violating Condition of Release, on Main Street, Newcastle, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Arrests
Wesley A. Hurd, 47, of Farmingdale was arrested March 12 for Operating under the Influence, on Cedar Grove Road, Dresden, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Brady E. O’Brien, 40, of Bremen was arrested March 13 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Medomak Road, Bremen, by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Rolando M. Mejia, 35, of Boothbay was arrested March 17 for Terrorizing and Operating after License Suspension, on Ocean Point Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers, who was assisted by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Accidents
On March 13, an accident occurred on Pension Ridge Road in Boothbay involving Amanda S. Lewis-Giles, 44, of Boothbay Harbor. Ms. Lewis-Giles was operating her 2007 Pontiac G6 southbound when she crossed the centerline, entered the northbound ditch, where she struck a sign and then a tree. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On March 15, an accident occurred on US Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Ikuenobe Utomi, 53, of Harris, Texas and Bruce A. Hendrickson, 65, of Waldoboro. Mr. Utomi was operating his 2024 Toyota Corolla southbound and Mr. Hendrickson was operating his 2016 Toyota Tundra northbound when Utomi crossed the centerline and collided with Hendrickson’s vehicle. Deputy Mark Fortin was the investigating officer.
