Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 4 arrests

    The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 224 calls for service for the period of April 24 to April 30. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 3,858 calls for service.

    Summons

    William A. Anderson Jr., 42, of Bath was issued a summons April 27 for Operating after License Suspension, on Boothbay Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.

    Arrests

    Joshua Shirey, 41, of Woolwich was arrested April 23 on three outstanding warrants, two from Lincoln County for Failure to Appear and one from Sagadahoc County on an Affidavit warrant for Criminal Trespass; Violating Condition of Release; Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention and Operating after Suspension, on River Road, Dresden, by Sgt. Jonathan Colby.

    Iva May Young, 33, of Whitefield was arrested April 25 on an Oxford County warrant for Failure to Appear on an Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drug charge, on Lawrence Road, Dresden, by Detective Jared Mitkus.

    Jamie D. Young, 44, of Bristol was arrested April 28 on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear on an Operating after Suspension charge, on Gardiner Road, Wiscasset, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

    Bronson W. Shapleigh-Archer, 35, of Lewiston was arrested April 28 for Operating after Suspension – priors, on Gardiner Road, Dresden, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.

    Accidents

    On April 23, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Nicholas Mundell, 23, of Linden, Pennsylvania and Mason Woodman, 19, of Damariscotta. Mr. Woodman was traveling northbound and stopped his 2024 GMC Sierra in traffic, waiting to turn into the Maine DOT yard.  Mr. Mundell was traveling northbound in his 2013 Dodge Caravan behind Woodman’s vehicle and failed to stop, striking Woodman’s vehicle in the rear bumper area and pushing it across the southbound lane, before coming to rest in the breakdown lane. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.

    On April 23, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving David L. Pratt, 60, of Boothbay. Mr. Pratt was operating his 2021 Dodge 1500 southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the left side and ran into the side of his vehicle. Sgt. Jonathan Colby was the investigating officer.

    On April 26, an accident occurred on N. Clary Road in Jefferson involving Wayne L. Parent, 61, of Topsham. Mr. Parent was operating his 2016 Honda CR-V southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the right side and was struck. Sgt. Jonathan Colby was the investigating officer.

    On April 27, an accident occurred on Waldoboro Road in Bremen involving Allan B. Ludwig, 30, of New Harbor.  Mr. Ludwig was operating his 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound when he lost control when he went to exit on Muscongus Road. As a result, he went off the roadway on the right, struck a street sign before striking several trees and landing on its side. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.

    On April 25, an accident occurred on Jefferson Road in Whitefield involving Gena L. McGill, 51, of Whitefield. Ms. McGill was operating her 2014 Jeep Compass northbound on East River Road when she failed to stop at the stop sign, crossed Jefferson Road and went off the roadway into a ditch/field. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
