Nomination papers for two seats on the Woolwich select board will be available from the town clerk beginning Monday, July 26. The seats will be on the ballot of the general election to be held Tuesday, Nov. 8.

The three-year select board terms of Allen Greene and Dale Chadbourne are expiring, confirmed Town Clerk Opal B. Keith. Although the election is in November, Greene’s and Chadbourne’s terms don’t expire until Dec. 31. Keith stated in an email to Wiscasset Newspaper Thursday, July 21, nomination papers must be returned to the town office no later than 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 9, and have the signatures of at least 25, but not more than 100, qualified, registered voters of Woolwich. Absentee ballots will be made available Tuesday, Aug. 9, added Keith.
