“Brooklyn” Set in the early 1950s, this film tells the story of a young Irish woman's immigration to New York, where she quickly falls into a romance. When her past catches up with her, she must choose between two countries and the lives that exist within them for her.
Staring Saoirse Ronan and Emory Cohen, directed by John Crowley and written by Nick Hornby based on Colm Tóibín's novel.
“Brooklyn” is rated PG13 and plays at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 23.
“Superman vs Batman” It's been nearly two years since Superman's (Henry Cavill) colossal battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the city of Metropolis. The loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck).
Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel.

“The Lady in the Van” This film tells the true story of the relationship between Alan Bennett and the singular Miss Shepherd, a woman of uncertain origins who 'temporarily' parked her van in Bennett's London driveway ... for 15 years. Starring Dame Maggie Smith reprising the role she played on stage.

Verdi’s “Requiem” Originally performed at La Scala in 1967 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Toscanini’s death, this production with the orchestra and chorus of the Teatro alla Scala was presented in Moscow, Montreal and New York, in addition to Milan. It was recorded on film (35mm) with the young Luciano Pavarotti replacing Carlo Bergonzi. Playing Saturday, March 26 at 1 p.m.
Talking Art in Maine, Intimate Conversations: John Bisbee. A series of one on one conversations between artist Jane Dahmen, and notable artists or curators who have made a substantial contribution to the arts in Maine. For nearly 30 years John Bisbee has welded and forged 12-inch spikes under the mantra, “Only nails, always different;” Tuesday, March 29 at 7 p.m. This is a free program.
