The Lincoln County Republicans will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at the Wiscasset Community Center, 242 Gardiner Road, Wiscasset. A business meeting for LCRC members will begin at 6 p.m., and then a presentation for the public, entitled “The Hidden Agenda,” will be given by Rep. Heidi H. Sampson at 7.

Rep. Sampson (R-Alfred) is a former member of the State Board of Education and is currently serving her third term on the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee in the Legislature. She represents HD 21 (Alfred, Newfield, and parts of Limerick, Shapleigh, and Parsonsfield). Her presentation will address the lack of transparency in our schools. Rep. Sampson will explore efforts currently being rolled out in our school districts, promoted by the Department of Education to focus on social-emotional learning, mental and behavioral health programs, etc.

The public is invited to attend the presentation.
