Recent Arrest

On December 4, Maynard Brewer, 48, of Southport Island was arrested for violating condition of release, on Hendricks Hill Road, Southport Island, by Det. Sgt. Ronald Rollins.

Recent Accidents

On December 6, an accident occurred on Indian Road in Dresden involving Michael M. Abell, 24, of Richmond. Abell was operating his 2001 Volkswagen Jetta northbound when he failed to negotiate a sharp turn. As a result, his vehicle went into a skid, causing it to roll over. Deputy Jared Mitkus was the investigating officer.

On December 7, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Whitefield involving Jontylar R. Weeks, 18, of Alna. Weeks was operating his 1994 Chevrolet 1500 southbound when he stated his truck felt like it had mechanical issues with the front end. As a result, he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. Deputy Jared Mitkus was the investigating officer.
