    Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library held its annual Windjammers for Wee Mateys June 28. The event provided games and activities for children gathered in Boothbay Harbor for the week-long celebration.

    BHML Executive Director Joanna Breen said the event was a hit with a steady stream of kids and families.

    “I brought back coffees for the (BHML staff) and I looked up and there had to be like 75 people on the library lawn,” said Breen.

    The event ran from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., but many stayed later to enjoy the vantage of and proximity to the downtown.
